Football trivia questions

1. What LSU football season included 5 shutouts -2 teams that we shut out, and 3 that shut us out.
Yet we finished in the top ten that year and went to a NYD Bowl game?

I have no clue....but i'm going with 1949 only because i think tadelatt looked it up.

No because we only had one shutout that year against Miss State.

Here's another trivia question:

Between 1970-1976, LSU football did not play a home game during the daytime. What home games in 1969 and 1977 started and ended this streak?
