Sumrall was the best hire in SEC history for a day. King for a day, what a short reign.

Once again reality proves Paul Finebaum to be a fücking know-nothing idiot.

Good coach but he was a little overzealous after that Ole Miss victory and clearly didn’t keep his team level headed either.

He has always been this way but its gotten really bad lately since Saban retired. But he just says shite to cause controversy. Zero substance.

And just like that, Josh pate has sealed another woeful take.
Whoever bought into that team? Last week vs Ole Miss had a lot of explanations you could give. Being at home, facing a team coming off an emotional win. Not having to face Kewan Lacy. Did anyone notice how the game turned in our favor once Lacy went down? They couldn't run the ball after that, and that Made Chambliss much easier to contain. Ultimately we lost, of course, but Ole Miss only scored the one time in the second half. Imagine if Lacy had missed the whole game against us AND we were at home, as well as facing a team coming off an emotional win?
It wasn't hard to see that coming. And I don't want to hear the media start clamoring over Missouri now. That's not been an impressive team up until today. We're just seeing the proof of how much NIL and the portal have gutted the quality of teams. Tons of inconsistency. If Leavitt can get and stay healthy and play like he did last week, there isn't a better team out there than us. Georgia maybe has looked like the best team so far but, again, if Leavitt figures it out, we're right there with them.

That didn’t age too well ?
People want so badly to have the next hot take that they don't even use logic. Did Florida look good before this week? Yes. Did they really play anybody? No. Jist because OM barely beat LSU in a buzz saw in Oxford and Florida beat OM handily, that doesn't make Florida the best team ever now. Of course, advance one week and now they've backed themselves into a corner where Mizzou HAS to be the next hot thing. Let's see who keeps riding the train and who gets off.
I expect Pate to get off, but Finebaum will stay on. As long as he keeps riding it, LSU keeps getting worse in his mind. I don't expect it to happen, not close, but if Clemson were to beat Miami, Finebaum's head may explode.
