They probably know but are smart enough to realize that outside of a few parts of the French Quarter and some private party venues, they won't realize that Decadence Fest is happening.

You're thinking about a normal weekend where you don't cross st Ann. Decadence takes over all of the quarter. You will see multiple guys in arse-less chaps on every block of bourbon that weekend.

I guess those hundreds of thousands that just left essence fest didn’t know about the crime.

They are they demographic of the crime. How many restaurants "close for remodeling" on essence weekend?

Prime time with Decadence going on; drag queens dressed in purple and gold. Not a good national image.

I bought four from their site for $50 each.

I really believe LSU fans bought many of their tickets.

That’s what I’m thinking too. FSU isn’t really known for having great fan support. I suspect they’ll have about 1/3 of the crowd there. 20-25k is my guess.

Many did; you think there was no crime during Essence you are naive as hell.

So how many attendees were murdered or were affected by crime?

I am surprised that they sold that many unless the LSU fans bought them

FSU sold their remaining allotment to a broker FWIW

My wife and I were at the BYU game in NO and stayed in the Hilton Riverside. We were there for two nights and were out and about doing touristy things. I did not know anything (Decadence) was going on until I read about it here when I got home to BR on Sunday night.

Would love to see these kinds of games come to Jeff Davis Parish.
