It's baffling to hear so many complaints against having to play a team (Florida) that's lost 5 or more games 6 of the last 12 years. In point of fact, UF has been pretty inconsistent since Spurrier left

So are you for or against having a fair system?

Exactly. Most want UF taken away from being our permant Eastern division game if their record is 10-0 or if it's 2-8. Do you gumps not understand that? We aren't scared of them

Gainsville is far as hell from Baton Rouge & I would rather travel to Athens, Nashville, Knox, Lexington, Columbis, and Columbia more

Look at the bigger picture doctor

3 of the last 4 years they have been mediocre are bad. Still better than UT, but the gap is closing.

It absolutely does not matter if Florida is great, mediocre or bad.

1. Florida was setup against LSU for a reason. It is called TRYING to stack the deck in Alabama's favor.

2. It is unfair to someone. Doesn't matter if it is LSU or Missouri whoever. An unfair system is just that... unfair... not level... not even.

Let me try again some of you gumps are pretty stupid.

A system that does not rotate conference teams means there WILL be inequity between the teams in that system. This is because teams are not ever all equal in ability.

Several schools scheduling open dates before their Bama game creates more schedule inequity than anything that LSU fans are bitching about.

Thank God we lost to Georgia so y'all could bitch about the schedule.

The fact that you would say that when last year in to quote the SEC office we were in hand picked rotation independent schedules and got 4 top ten teams where bama got 2 makes me think we discovered a bama alter.

Bama bitched and moaned far more about that schedule than we ever did and guess what they got the rule changed.

It was one season and the only time ever they had a problem with the schedule and guess what the sec said oh no please it will never happen again.

Florida is a top 3 job in college football

Yes, and yet they picked Muschamp who never had a head coach job until Florida. That's always a big gamble. Much like Bo at Nebraska.

Ask Michigan, USC, Tennessee and Miami how easy it is to find a coach for a top 10 program.

They've also won 2 NCs and made a couple sugar bowls in that stretch. But you're right,FL hasn't shown the consistency of Tenn lately.

Not going to a bowl is setting them back. That extra practice time is huge for most programs.

That's what worries me about LSU next season. Don't know what JennSwag has since Miles hasn't let him play in any game except for a few QB sneaks. He may be another Murphy or another Winston. NOBODY knows since the head coach will not let him get in there and throw the freaking football. No reason for him not to be playing at least half the game against all the OOC "Sisters of the Poor" schools.

BINGO we have a winner folks!
Less Miles sure as hell ain't taking coleslaw to the next Mensa picnic.

As long as the SEC HQ is in Gumpville you forget scheduling equality.

I like how they use the "tradition" excuse when it benefits Alabama or Auburn but don't give a damn when traditions from other schools are lost.

How about giving us the right of first refusal for one day game each year? You're ruining our night game tradition.

We REALLY need to relocate the SEC HQ!!!

The annual UF/LSU game was not made because of schedule inequality, it was made because of tv plain and simple. Bama/Tennessee is already good for tv and has the rivalry angle, same with Auburn/UGA. That left 4 teams at the time of the change. Vandy isn't good for tv. Kentucky isn't good for tv. That leaves USCe and UF. Which would you rather have currently? Over time UF isthe bad option but USCe is quite good right now. At the time UF/LSU made the most sense and still does. Whhen both schools are on track its a great game for tv. Look at the 07 game. That game was major league in terms of tv ratings. I like the game personally. The UF game has never cost us a chance at a national title. Generally whenwe lose to them we lose another game or 2 as well. Also not having UF on the schedule isn't gonna make beating Bama any more or less important. We can lose to UF and still get where we want by beating Bama. This whole thing shows a lot of insecurity by LSU fans imo. Itsmeaningless in the grand scheme of things.

2006 FL was the costliest to LSU but 2012 loss kept us from a Sugar, and really any loss hurts if it means a lesser bowl.

But really I like the FL game. I just want a fair schedule that rotates logically. The halfass rivalry of Tn-Bama isn't a good reason to affect everyone's schedule.
