this...bigtime. if colt 'mr. reliable' doesn't gag on a very makable fg we beat bama in regulation in '08. shite happens. it takes a lot of special players to win championships and it seems we're a little short on that commodity right now. les and staff know they had better produce solid results this year...and I expect to see it.

Agreed Bengal Boy. Thats why I'm optimistic and excited about this season. Miles knows this is a very important one and he and this team have a lot to prove. I think we'll see it too.

We are loaded with talent with no one to lead this team at the most critcal position, QB.

To answer this question. We will not beat Bama with the current QB situation. We might beat UF because they lost Tebow.

If a QB emerges (Lee more likely than Jefferson) than anything is possible. We have that much talent. I sure would like to see a freshman rise up like the Tommy Hodson of his day. Garrett or Zach Lee would be nice but not likely. Miles doesn't play freshman much to speak of.

Plus the shoddy refereeing. The int was just one call made in bama favor. Along with about six no calls that would have kept LSU in the lead. I still firmly believe that the powers that be in the SEC decided have a gauranteed team in the BCS championship game by making sure no one beat bama or fla.

That is a good point. If Tennesse beats LSU, after forty eight years of rooting for the Tigers, I may switch and root for the Vols, until LSU Administration gets serious about winning football games.
I can't wait another twenty years to win another SEC Championship.

Why did you post this question when you already had your mind made up that it couldn't happen? you could have just made your point and not asked for the rant to answer.
the same ol ranturds say no and no.
the majority of the rant says yes.

i guess you are a ranturd that believes your turds are true because other turds come out and agree with you, and you get to read your own opinion over and over again.

oh, yes and yes.

the SEC West in 2010 runs through Fayetteville/Little Rock, Arkansas....you guys can focus on UF and the Gumps all you please, but the "come to Jesus" meeting for the LSU Tigers takes place two days after Thanksgiving when my Swine will be playing for an undefeated regular season in Little Rock

do we beat either of these teams while GC is still calling the plays?

No. Crowton's playcalling combined with his inability to develop a QB will cost us against these two teams who will probably have the two best defenses in the league.

Honestly, I don't believe Crowton actually teaches how to play QB. He draws up plays and forces the QB to execute them without paying attention to detail such as proper technique. Seems a QB under Crowton has to kind of learn on his own.

Miles will never beat Alabama and Florida as long as Crowton is OC.

Claiming equality when down 0-2 is just manufacturing moral victories.

Going toe-to-toe with another team in terms of competitiveness and score is not a moral victory, but it is a fact. We are not that far away even with the QBs we have. If they improve, then we are ahead. It doesn't mean the teams end in a tie. It means we were right there despite the deficiencies. Any improvement this year in the running game(ie more yards and TDs than 2009) without PP, JJ, and our running backs getting injured in the same game against Florida or Alabama, IMO we at least split Florida and Alabama game and do not lose to Ole Miss or Arkansas.

It's most important to focus on beating Alabama, because they're in the West and are not going to quit relying on the run this year in favor of becoming a pass first offense. That get's you through most of the SEC coupled with great defense.

Miles & Crowton know the score. They have to turn things around this year or they must exit. I hope they turn things around. If not, the best coaches will line up to coach LSU.
