Like I said, the most frustrating team in recent memory. They don’t blow anybody out. They can play beautiful basketball during certain periods of time. But you cannot allow 6-6 Florida to come in and beat you at home.

It was OBVIOUS who wanted this game more. If you don’t believe me the only aspect you need to look at if you rewatch the game is effort on florida’s Missed shots. At least 5 times we were between the shooter or another rebounder and stood there and watched while someone else grsbbed it.

This game was lost due to all the easy shite around the rim that we missed and all the free throws we missed.

Come on people...we are two years removed from some of the worst basketball you’ve ever seen. You can literally lose a game and still be okay. Do you people throw your children out of the house when they aren’t perfect? Yeah we should have played better. We didn’t. Learn and grow. That’s life. Some of y’all act like we can’t still win the SEC. to you I say, stop watching LSU and find something else to do. You are insufferable.

Until this program beats Florida I would have to say they can't beat them. Going to their place in a few weeks will tell a tale.

We’ve been winning. Don’t make me bust out the stats to defend myself. I don’t mind doing it after a loss. You’re call

The whole team seemed slow to the ball all night. The rebounds they were a step slow. Coach must really push the lowpost game, we were in the bonus for over 12 minutes and they didn't use it to their advantage until late in the game. Florida just outplayed them tonight. LSU did too much one-on-one and not enough ball movement.

Some times you have a bad game. Florida hit some timely shots. Team played hard throughout.

We are more talented than nearly every team we play yet we jack around and play down and make every game a coin toss. We’ve lost games- and probably will lose more- that we shouldn’t. That’s on us and that’s why people are frustrated. We literally come out and dominate NO ONE- not even teams we are superior to.

My biggest gripe with this team is that they always seem to let the other team set the tone of the game. The pace, the physicality. I wish we could just come out and dictate how the game is going to be played. If we can do that on Saturday, I like our chances.

I saw alot of laziness tonight...they looked slow afoot...don’t know if it was becuz of last weeks game against Ky and Georgia or looking towards the Tennessee game this Saturday...I’m sure they will turn it up a notch though against the Vols...

Very true and frustrating that we did not drive to the basket more while in bonus. I think is was huge for us though. This is as close to Virginia ball as we will see till we get back for game 2 n Florida or we get to the tourney... I think we learn from this and know how to tackle next team that attacks us in this way... this will open these guys eyes and I think lsu moves back to rock solid freethrow shooting.

If this team doesn’t start playing with a little more urgency and energy you’ll see a few more of these losses down the stretch. And ... Mike White flat out-coached Will Wade tonight.

It's one game.

We've only lost 2 in the SEC.

Teachable moments.

Relax.

Duke just lost. At home. Yeah yeah yeah. Zion broke his kicks. Blah blah blah. They got trounced by unc at home. It happens. Just like fla winning. Beat tenn and all this goes away. Still in first place if we win Saturday . Enjoy the ride. Lsu basketball like this only happens every few decades. Im a man. Im 41. Ive seent it.

Just an off night. Tremont shot poorly, the team sucked from the line, and the ball was bouncing 30 feet off the rim on Florida's side. Just a weird night. Win on Saturday, and this loss will pretty much erased.

LSU needs to tighten up their defense, so stoop the other guy from scoring LSU!?

I am glad someone else sees this.

If we win Saturday, we are still in the driver's seat. We would be tied with Tennessee and presumably Kentucky (if they beat Auburn Saturday at home) and would own the tiebreaker over both of them.

If we lose, we are still ok. Plenty of winnable games to follow.

Last night sucked, but I think it was an anomaly. Florida was desperate, they controlled the tempo, and we missed an arse-load of easy shots around the basket that we normally make.

It isn't like there was a major breakdown signaling impending doom.
