First time going to Hoover. Question about GA tickets

Is it first come, first served? Any gotchas? I see tickets on tm for $23. Lower than I expected and significantly cheaper than surrounding seats but the view isn't terribly different
TM doesn't have an option to buy a ticket for a single game so one purchase is admission to all games for that day?

Yes first come first serve. If it’s a day game get in line down left field line and sit at top of the GA bleachers.

Thanks!!
And it's one ticket per day? Not one ticket per game?

Per sessions. There are usually day sessions and then evening session which include 2 games each. I assume it’s still the same this year

Don’t buy from Ticketmaster. Show up to the stadium and purchase at the counter.
Experience: been going to the tournament since I was 9. I’m now 34.

what’s the difference with buying at the stadium/ticket booth or ticketmaster?

You purchase at cost and don’t pay fees and mark ups. They don’t run out of “general admission”. Never have
General admission is practically unlimited

I went a few years back and there was an entrance gate at the Finley center that few people knew about. Short lines and get in quick to get the seats in the shade.

So you joined TD when you were 17. We've probably had a terrible impact on your development.

You're right there with my kids!
We moved here in 1998, and rarely missed a week of baseball at the Met for well over 20 years.
They've all moved away now, but my oldest texted me on Monday to say she hates missing this tournament and has already requested the whole week off next year.
