Portal is gonna be insane this off-season. With seniors coming back, a lot more are hitting it than usual
Should be entertaining
It feels like a free agency these days
I think Miss St lost like 4 kids and more to come

I haven't actually sat and crunched the numbers on this, but it seems to me that there will be a lot of returning players across the country next year that normally would have finished their eligibility this year. And if this is the case, some of the kids in the portal might not find a landing place because there just aren't as many roster spots available.
I think sports like softball and baseball will see this happen next year also, and probably in a bigger way.

As usual 357 and 9295 speak the truth and reality. UCONN WBB loses $3m+....but it is about the brand of the University, how much do you think it is worth to UCONN, answer, a whole lot...many of us liked the hire, it has been terrible, paid her $7M over 10 years to be less than average in a weaker SEC (check this year's NCAA trny so far).

Do you know the definition of revenue and the difference between revenue and profit? Nobody says they will ever make a profit...but they CAN bring in revenue.
If 5000 people buy a ticket to a game and they all buy a hot dog and a coke, that is revenue. And it is a hell of a lot more revenue than if 300 people buy a ticket, which is currently where we are right now.
