Yes but with accurate throw the next batter could have been thrown out at 1st. Home run would have been only one run.

I didn’t; shite on Thompson, i disagreed (vehemently) with the poster. Thompson is better than last year, but if we are being honest, his defense is questionably not up to part for D1 and definitely not up to par for SEC. in my opinion, his footwork is lazy. He has the tools, but relies too much on the strength of his arm

Next batter would have been safe at first. He’s isn’t going to dive and get up and make that throw. So no real damage this time.

Not shitting on him at all, just calling it like it is. He is the most inaccurately throwing SS I have ever seen at LSU (been watching since the 80’s) and it’s not even close.
