He didn't say anything negative about the team, a player or the coach. How is that bulletin board material?

Also called Burrow a "temporary fix"
You do understand what a "temporary fix" means don't you? Basically they are saying Burrow is basically a band-aid and he is not good enough to be a solution to our QB issues from the past!
It is a diss, whether you can understand that or not! Why don't you ask Burrow if he feels he was disrespected or not?

You could not be more wrong if you tried. Let's break this down. Here is what was said.
He's saying that LSU historically has not been able to recruit and develop QBs out of high school and get them ready to be successful on the field. Then, blames that on Miles and says that it is yet to be determined under Orgeron. So, Orgeron hasn't had the opportunity to develop a player like Brennan just yet. What does he do? He goes out and gets a grad transfer that is has already been developed by a great QB coach. So, his issue of having to develop a successful QB is fixed temporarily why he goes out and signs a couple more QBs this year and next year. Therefore, in 2020 he can have Brennan ready to start while still developing the kids that are not ready yet.
Not even remotely what he said. He said Burrow was a FIX, which is a positive thing. But, it absolutely doesn't solve being able to recruit and develop players. Do you think it is feasible to sign a quality grad transfer QB every year or two and not have to recruit and develop QBs from high school? Yes or no? Is that a successful model for sustained success?
Why would he feel disrespected by someone saying he fixed their problem?
I clearly do. You obviously do not.

Having Burrow for 2 years with the maturity he has with Myles behind him def benefits Myles and hopefully will domino effect into helping Lance LeGendre and Lance LeGendre develop

Did he really say anything out of line? He said it “was to be determined” and that it was “Miles’ undoing”. Why all the butthurtia? .

His opinion isn't worth a bucket of spit.

He's not good enough to be a solution to our QB issues from the past. No one player is. Maybe you're misidentifying what the problem actually was.
Our issues from the past were that we weren't able to implement a system that churns out competent QB play year after year as a few others top programs have been able to do. We had Mett but nothing after him. That's the problem. The solution is a system, not a player.
When Burrow leaves presumably we'll be right back at square one, without competent QB play. In that regard he is absolutely a temporary fix. When Ohio St loses Haskins, they'll have Martell. You just saw Clemson move on to Trevor Lawrence, and history says they'll have someone else after Lawrence. That's the standard we should aspire to achieve.

Finebaum is a genius in the sense of, “Hey, I’m going to give a platform to dumb rednecks while at the same time give listeners of average to below average intelligence something to laugh at.”
His football takes are not the reason for his “popularity.”
