This came from a coaching staffs mouth. So take it as you want to take it

Everybody got on coach O like he had issues and they couldn't get a long. The truth is Aranda could not stand him. Aranda thought he was a backstabbing punk. So the real reason he had to go is because Aranda got to a point where it was either him or me.

And of course they made the right choice.

The truth shall set you free

It’s so fricking hilarious how with Orgeron we have grown arse men acting like teenagers on the staff.

Probably had a lot to do with Canada wanting to force the issue with his hurry up offense. While obviously Aranda felt it ( and it did ) expose his young and very thin defense. Which early in the yer didn't have the depth to play as many snaps as they were being forced to.

Know what helps with a young defense? Scoring a bunch of points.

Until you can provide some even remotely credible sourcing I'm not going to believe it as fact.

Not commenting on the veracity of the OP. However while scoring lots of points quickly appears to be an offensive solution to help a young defense, it's not that simple. When young and thin on defense, quick scoring by the offense, puts the defense on the field for too many minutes. It will actually wear down a thin defense and allow the opposing team to pull away in the long run. But, I am sure you know this.

They’ll say he was never going to A&M.

Yeah, you're right, but if you have long drives that result in points, that helps the defense a lot.

We, on the other hand, had a shitload of short drives that resulted in nothing, or long drives that resulted in nothing because our kicker fricking sucked.

Huh? Confusing as hell. Is this what you are saying?

but I do believe this since Canada can't stick around long where ever he has been. When you look at a resume, and see a lot of 1 year jobs, it's a single of someone who doesn't fit in easy.

Not if it forces the defense to stay on the field and there is a depth problem.

How much was A&M offering him? Did he stay at LSU for less?
