The negatigers always grasp onto the one fact that helps them - number of NFL players from LSU. But, that is only one facet of how much "talent" you have on a team. "There will be ten players from this team in the NFL." So what? Ten players represent less than 1/2 the players on the field and a much smaller percentage of the team itself.

Of course and it also doesnt take into account the cfb players that dont make it in the nfl.
Tim Tebow and vince young dont count towards texas and UF nfl talent. I guess they werent generational players,

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if we all of a sudden look like a college offense.

if you think Les Miles isn't responsible for this, you are clueless...but you know, don't reference the facts and stuff posted before no need to be angry anymore bro...les is gone, LSU's future is uncertain but hopefully very bright!

The lsu doesn't recruit itself.
Please explain why our 2004 class wasnt great. If lsu recruited itself then we wouldve never had bad classes undee miles and we did. Hell our 2012 class was 18th.

That is one of the most retarded posts I've ever seen...having more NFL talent than every team you face does not mean you have more talent

Exaclty. There is no need to shite on miles anymore. He is gone. Its time for a new era. If someone cant admit miles was an elite recruiter then they just hate miles.

Miles actually out-coached Saban in the "Armageddon" game from November, 2011.

If you are alluding to the fact that Saban tried to kick all those FGs rather than punting, then its more like Saban outcoached himself, because Miles had little to do with those decisions

No it wont. If miles had won 10 games in 2014 &2015 he is still the coach.

If the LSU Mcneese game happened last year LSU would have won 10 games. Don't think that would have worked.

Thats what happens when you try 3 kicks that wouldve been career long makes for your kicker.

I love how everyone just acts like career long kicks are just points left on the field.

Is it more important to recruit 5 stars or need? I have no idea what were ruined that year but maybe, just maybe we recruited linemen and not as many skill players that get you a higher ranking

So it didn't. No way hey for miles with 10 wins every since 2009. No chance in hell they fire miles with 10 wins every year while playing in the hardest division in cfb.

Your logic sucks. Texas has far more NFL players in Houston - who would you think would win that matchup? This is one of numerous examples. If you had 10 NFL players on your roster and 50 high school players, you'd have more talent than a team with 8 NFL players to be?

LSU fans pick the big stat that helps their case, ignoring all the others.

He was not known to be a great recruiter until he came here...which proves LSU does recruit itself.

He was Colorado's top man when they were acquiring recruits for what was eventually a National Championship. Miles on the sideline left a lot to be desired. What he recruited to be on the sideline did not (except QB). The man can flat out recruit. That being said, LSU does attract talent for all the reasons one would expect. Together, they were a potent recruiting combo!
