I honestly don't think I have ever thought one of these guys in the past was coming back. DW just seems different to me. I could be completely wrong.

Even will all of the hoping and praying by LSU fans, I didn't think there was any chance that he would come back (it just makes too much sense to leave). However, I suspect the image of Watkins crying last night as the game wound down was pretty powerful for someone potentially wavering on their decision.
I still think he leaves, but I don't know if it's as much of a sure thing as I though 3 days ago

IMO it all comes down to how much does he really enjoy the college life and how badly does he need the $ right now. From what I’ve read, he doesn’t seem to have a big financial need at the present time. Plus it really looks like he enjoys being a college football player.
Let’s also be honest, sure the NFL pays extremely well but at the end of the day it is still a job. Is there a chance he gets severely injured and can’t recover? Sure but with today’s healthcare that is rare. Plus if that does happen, I would bet the farm that LSU and it’s donors would make sure that White is comfortable for the rest of his life with some sort of friend of the program type of job.

At this point, I think the odds are trending in that direction.
Think about it. If it was such a sure thing that DW is leaving, why hasn't he announced it already? There's no way he's the type of guy who would purposefully leave the fan base (and his teammates) hanging like this only to pull the rug out from under them at the last second.
I'm not saying he's definitely staying. But I think it's obvious that he's not definitely leaving either.
At the very least, he's very seriously considering staying.
