What’s the 8th batter do? Slapper right where our 2nd baseman should be. I’m tired of shifts. They work in situations, but come on man, it’s the 8 hole. You get that easy out and inning is over.

I agree. There are times to shift and times not to shift.

Last week a&m dude jacks two HRs opposite field and the next day LSU shifts him to pull. He hits it in the SS hole (LH batter) would have been an inning ending double play.

Instead is an rbi single and the next batter hits a 2 run HR.

3 runs because LSU wanted to shift on a freshman with 80 total ABs.


What kind of sample size is that?! What are they doing?!
