Harris could not progress from where he is now until his last game in PandG (unlikely)and some on this board will still defend and praise him.

There are numerous posters who have been in love with him since he was a recruit and no matter what happened/happens they will not admit they could have been wrong.

No.

As others, I believe he has the potential to be good but that is based on arm strength and mainly elite offensive skill players he can utilize only.

What else has he shown so far?

He showed gradual improvement throughout the year and shredded the 2nd best defense he faced (UF) until our O-line got man-handled and he was hurt against Bama. Obviously he still has a lot to prove. Your idea that people blindly defend/praise him couldn't be further from the truth.

Damn I hope Harris comes out guns blazing because you racists are going to start clamoring for Etling week 1 if he doesnt. If that happens, its going to be a LONG year.

This works both ways on this board. People come up with determinations towards a guy as a freshman and never believe they will improve and are bullish on them when they do improve. See Robertson, Kramer.

The last time a white QB from Purdue came and QB'd a Louisiana team when people doubted his ability to play...

True.

I've been a TD member for 9 years as you can see. I have seen it all on here.

To certain posters it seems some players can do no wrong and if they do, there is an excuse or coaches/other players are blamed and then some players cannot do right.

Sometimes these feelings develop from the time the kid receives an offer and BH is what seems to me the 1st type mentioned above.

To those referring to Etling's short performance at Purdue...does anyone remember BH's play at Auburn? Quit looking in the rear-view mirror, Negatigers! The future will quickly pass you by!

A season and half of play versus the first start for a true freshman.

Yea, absolutely the same.
