I have a group of about 10 making the drive early this morning and it’s all of our first time. Does anyone have any must eats or places to go? We are staying 2 nights and coming home Sunday morning so we have plenty of time after the game Saturday.

What’s the age range for your group? That’ll help me with bar recommendations. But you can’t go wrong if you stick to the Dickson St area.

As for restaurants:
-Powerhouse (Seafood/Steaks), good location and good food. If you go here get a kilowatt to drink (similar to a hurricane)
-Hammontree’s- known for it’s wide assortment of grilled cheese sandwiches. Very good and I’m not a grilled cheese guy.
-Hugo’s-best burger place. Right off the square.
-JJ’s on Dickson St is a popular sports bar. Usually have $2 Margs all day and turns into more of a bar later at night, good outdoor area.
-Bordino’s- great Italian food. Need to be dressed nice. More formal and right on Dickson St.
-Theo’s-another more upscale restaurant. One block off Dickson St.

Hugo’s near the square is classic venue. Walk from square to Dickson street. Stop at places along the way to campus.

With a group of 10 near the square I would see if you can get reservations too.

Cheers at the OPO is a good place. I’ve ranged from sandwiches to their steaks and it’s always been good.

Feed and Folly is a kinda boujee restaurant at the top of Dickson. Great food and drinks.

Tula by the square is a good place, but kinda small. Great carnitas.

Hugo’s, Doe’s, and Herman’s are considered big staples of NWA, but personally I’m not a fan.

If you are out late night on Dickson, Yanceys is a great place. If you have any questions he’s one of the nicest and most helpful people you’ll find. Good drunk hot dog.

Down on MLK is a semi new chicken wing place called Chick’n Headz. Just left there actually. Great chicken. No alcohol/beer.

Bar wise…

Shotz - cool gimmick with ice shot glasses you get to throw on the ground.

YeeHawg - has a mechanical pig to ride. Kinda cowboy bar. Popular student bar.

Tin Roof - new popular bar from Nashville. They have 3 bars and bands. Every time I’ve been there’s been multiple fights tho. So kinda be on guard as an LSU fan.

C4 Nightclub and Lounge - two story nightclub with a dance floor, patio, and karaoke. One of the only 18+ bars around Dickson.

Cannibal and Craft - kinda a tropical themed bar. Great fish bowls.

The Piano Bar - dueling piano bar. Always puts on a good show. Get there early for a booth or table. Great apple pie shot.

Green Room - a really nice pool hall and bar. Pay hourly for the table, not a coin table.

You Know Unos - fun karaoke bar.

Ryleighs - fun kinda dive bar. Two story with multiple pay to play pool tables and ping pong tables.

West End - kinda the frat bar of NWA. Good decent shot specials. Not a place I really go anymore.

VIP Club - kinda the same. Dance floor that too many fights happen at now. Tend to stay away from there too.
