Had a blast in fayetteville 2 years ago, it was just extremely cold. thankfully the weather looks to be warmer this year.
I went to JJ's bar after the game, very cool place. for what it's worth, their catfish nuggets and homemade ranch was amazing. highly recommend that. there's also a few bowling lanes inside the bar which was cool

First timers to Fayetteville, especially those driving from Louisiana, are in for a very nice treat. I personally love the drive this time of year between Ft. Smith and Fayetteville. Absolutely gorgeous!
The only bad thing is you have to be in Arkansas.

I highly recommend downloading the IDrive Arkansas app. There is ongoing construction between Mountainburg and Fayetteville, and sometimes the traffic backs up to Mountainburg. If you encounter that, it may be best to detour on Hwy 71 and get around it. Also the tunnel near Winslow is a bottleneck. Always a wreck there.
