I may be wrong, but it seems to me that that tradition has diminished considerably in recent years. Probably due to Nazi gate marshals.

Am I wrong?

North Endzone sections 35-40 do this on a regular basis. In fact, some folks bring in a box of poppers and pass them out.

goal post is cool but we share that with fsu.

FYI - FSU added the "H" goal posts to honor their former head coach Bill Peterson. Peterson came to FSU from LSU.

He brought in three-platoon football mimicking the famous “Chinese Bandits” teams he used as an assistant at LSU and gave them the designations of the "Chiefs", "Renegades", and "War Party". Despite the wide-open attack, the LSU influence was obvious and he built his early teams upon a smothering defense.

There was a wonderful tradition of always running under the crossbar of the goal post even on road games and bowl games. Cholly Mac would make a point of it. Look at any old game film and you will see the Tigers coming onto the field under the crossbar even if the actual entrance onto the field was in a corner. The team would jog over to the goal post and then run onto the field. I believe this tradition ended with Arnsparger.

One I miss was Red and his voice booming "Tiger Bait" across the stadium when the visiting team ran out to do their warmups.
Another was Syd welcoming Tiger Band after they marched into the stadium to the west side stands, then northwest side stands.

Les, holding back the frothing Tigers before they run out of the tunnel looks badass and I would call it a new tradition

Fans' total lack of rhythm, as evidenced by(i)the inability to clap in time with the cadence for more than 4 beats when the band is entering the field for pregame and (ii) getting out in front of the band's tempo on the "R" when spelling out T-I-G-E-R-S after a touchdown.

Not sure if you were serious or not but I actually do love this. It shows we're not some organized "yell squad" we're loud, we're amped, and we're crazy

Yep, been handing them out since my first game as a kid in 1997. That part of the stadium always seems to have the most poppers.

I like the champagne poppers during the national anthem. Even if their is still an internal dispute between the actual timing of using the poppers.

No shite.

Although I was at the Arky game a few years ago. I overheard an Arky fan ask a tiger fan what the bowing was about.

The lady just shrugged and it was the Hail to the Tiger song..,
