The entire stadium chanting "L-S-U" immediately after Georgia scored in 2003. We willed the team to victory that day.

Man, I forgot that and was there. Gives me chills.

Doh! Forgot about that, it seems like its a gimme every year, which is understandable for to some degree.

ETA: Went back and looked, seems we played Miss. State in 2012 as well. but before that you had to go back to 1994 (lost 17-18 to South Caroline). Though our last loss was ot UAB in 2000.

Even though we lost the game, Jarvis Landry's touchdown catch in the 2012 Alabama game was the absolute loudest and craziest I've ever heard Tiger Stadium. Been to a lot of big games in TS 01 Auburn, 03 UGA, 07 Fla, 07 VTech, 07 Auburn, 2014 Ole Miss, 2014 Alabama. But that 2012 Alavama game touchdown was nuts. Loudest that stadium has ever been.

Last year vs. New Mexico St... My two sons' first trip. The look of awe when they first saw the field through the tunnel was incredible. We were in the North Endsone and they threw a

At LF7 and he did it right back.

Phenomenal day

Related - flew my kids to see their favorite baseball player, Mike Trout. He looked at them wearing his gear. My son gave him a headnod, like a "whattsup?" and he did it right back. My two boys flipped out.

Nix to Twillie:

90% of the people on this board are so young they have no idea what your name refers to!

But I do, cause I'm old!

My favorite 5 moments, in chronological order:

1. Auburn game, 1969, LSU 21-20. A blocked field goal and a blocked extra point saved the victory. My first game ever in Tiger Stadium.

2. LSU vs Auburn, 1972. We beat a favored team 35-7. Bert Jones was awesome.

3. LSU vs Ole Miss, 1972. Bert Jones to Brad Davis with 0:00 on the clock, LSU 17-16.

4. Florida, 1997; the first time LSU knocked off a #1 team in Tiger Stadium, 28-21.

5. Flynn to Byrd, 2007. We don't need no stinking field goal!

BTW, the "Nix to Twillie" game I listened to in my apartment in Denver on the old WRNO Worldwide shortwave radio station. The sound faded in and out all game, but came in strong just as Troy Twillie made the interception. I celebrated with a big swig on my bottle of malt liquor!!

I have to admit, the '97 UF win surpassed Troy Twillie ...I was in the SS again, and you either rushed the field or got trampled, no joke. It was run or die, so I got my GF over first, then lost her - POOF!

I was drunk, trying to find my GF in the pandemonium...not watching where I was going and

BAM!

I was on my back on the ground, when my GF appears:

her: Holy shite! are you ok?
me: WTF? did the goal post hit me?
her: (laughing) nope - Tommy Banks just ran over you.

My favorite moment, and I didn't even see it.

Great personal story on that game. I had moved to Denver only 2 weeks earlier, and my apartment didn't have cable TV. I found a sports bar, sat at the bar and asked them to change the channel to ESPN (I believe it was tuned to field hockey or something). I ordered a beer and dinner and proceeded to watch the game. We had a short pass over the middle (Hodson to Sammy?) that he broke for an 80 yard touchdown. I stood up in my chair, threw my fist in the air and was about to scream "YEAH!" when I looked around and saw that I was the only person in the bar watching the game.

I thought, "Well, Toto, you're not in Baton Rouge anymore!"

Nix to Twillie, aka Jamie's Revenge. Incredible energy expended.

Also, Faulk 4th Qtr punt return against Houston to spur a 20 point comeback.

I always forget about that 2000 Tenn game. I was there with my uncle because my dad couldn't go and I had to beg him to let my uncle take me. I got to go but unfortunately he wouldn't let me rush the field because I was only 10 but still one of the best/more memorable games I've ever been to.

UGA 2003

The Bulldogs tie it up on a 92 yard screen pass. Tiger Stadium is supposed to go quiet right? Not so fast my friend.

As if all the fans had the same idea at once, we all start chanting LSU, LSU. The players feel the energy and the KO is returned to midfield.

A few plays later, Skylar Green puts us ahead. CWebb seals the deal with a red zone INT.

Opening kickoff of 1979 USC game , sitting in student section. Loudest 60 minutes of football in the history of college football. The ironic thing is ;we lost the game and the next week we beat Florida in front of a quiet and still mourning crowd.

McElroy fumble near the LSU student section/ Peterson TE reverse.

Extra play against Tenn for the game winner. (Still can't believe that happened..)

Jennings game winning drive from 1 yard line.

Tejada wide right for LSU OT victory against Arky.

Landry late TD against Bama (We lost but holy hell was the stadium rocking)
