The liner to Pearson that saved game 1.

The Home run by Pearson that sealed game three.

The two catches by Thompson first as 2nd baseman, then at Shortstop.

That smile on Guidry’s face as he looked around and took it in before he got that last strike. Priceless!!!!

They don’t realize that had we lost the first game, Sunday likely would have looked far different.

Yeah, it would have looked a lot different because Florida would have dogpiled. Everyone talking about how easy Florida was is forgetting that if Pearson doesn't make that great catch Florida sweeps.

We did not have the pitching to make Sunday competitive. On the other hand, we were without Skenes.

So many guys stepped up. Skenes was awesome, but so were Floyd, Hurd, and Ack.

Ack wasn't awesome. He had one awesome outing and one poor one. That does not compare to Cooper, Hurd or Floyd, much less Skenes.

I am not saying it was THE play of the CWS but I also have to say that after watching Crews not have a ton of dramatic hits, to see him smoke that ball to wall, hustle out a triple and then have Tanks knock him in seemingly on the very next pitch was just poetic. I thought it was Crews’ last at-bat as a Tiger. Turned out we batted around and he knocked a hard single the next inning too! Ha ha

Favorite moment in CWS?
Not the most impactful, but for some reason I can't forget Crews sprinting home in the 8th after his triple in the title game. Here you have someone with a beautiful life laid out in front of them - wealth, fame, power money, beauty, etc...all at his doorstep. And in the final moments of his college career - in a game that was all but over - this guy frickING HIGH TAILS IT HOME as if he were an overlooked 7th grader just trying to make the B rec team.

If that's not leading by example, I don't know what is. I hope the players that are staying - as well as the recruits - will look to this as a guide.

Both ref season #1 teams
Flash plays on defense
Extra innings
Walk off bomb.

Pretty impossible to pick just one from an incredibly memorable CWS run.
