Yep, pound per pound George Bevan. The guy could make tackles where there was none to be made. He was a tackling machine!!

George Bevan, Michael Brooks, and Eric Hill. The young guys didn't have the opportunity to see Brooks play missed greatness. He was fast, strong, and relentless. Too bad an injury ruined his Sr. year and shortened his Pro career.

George Bevan made up for his lack of size with knowledge of the game. He was amazing.

Michael Brooks, w/ the late Toby Caston a close second.
When Caston hit a guy, you had to check to make sure after the play that the guy's head was still attached.

Anyone remember Rydell Melancon #99. Walter Lewis quarterback for Alabama in 1982 sure the hell does!

Caston was a middle linebacker. He played w Sancho, E Hill and Nicky Hazard. He was awesome and was a part of many goal line stances. He was a great pro for the oilers before he dies as well. One of my favs along w Brooks, Hill, Sancho.

Crap, I forgot about Eric Hill! When he and Sancho were on the field, it was just ugly. Hung around Hill a coupla times at The Tiger. I was kind of in awe of him cause of all the talk about what a bada** he was on and off the field. Dude was cool though
