1997 Florida; last LSU game I got to attend with my Dad before we had to put him in the nursing home.
Least favorites: 1993 Auburn; 2000 UAB; 2005 Tennessee.

Ole Miss 1972
Bert Jones in the flats to Brad Davis on the last play of the game for a game-tying TD. Davis later admitted he lost the ball in the old low lights, and never saw it until it hit his hand. He bobbled it, but secured it and dove onto the sideline pylon for the score in the South end zone right in front of the Ole Miss cheerleaders and fan section (I was right there too, up higher in Section U9). PAT after the clock expired for the win. LSU 17 Ole Piss 16. LSU ran 2 plays in the last 4 seconds, the last with less than a second to go. 0:00 on the scoreboard clock, but the horn hadn't sounded yet, so one more play. Ole Piss fans still insist the LSU clock keeper was intentionally slow in starting the clock on the second-to-last play, and that the clock should have expired on that play. For years there was a boundary sign on U.S Hwy. 81 (on the Mississippi side) that said, "You are now entering Louisiana; set your watch back four seconds."

I haven't been to many.....
But I did have the fortune to see LSU beat Oklahoma in the Superdome for the National Championship!
But my favorite of all time was the Flynn to Byrd TD to beat Auburn in Tiger Stadium ...because I was with my son who was 14 years old at the time!!!!

Excluding national championship games, mine is LSU beating Bama 19-18 in 1988.
That was a real fight that afternoon.

Incredible finish! No quit in LSU
November 12, 2005 - #5 LSU vs #3 Alabama
Alabama was ranked #2 in some polls and on their way to a BCS NC with USC and Les Miles #5 LSU Tigers tied it at 10-10 in the second half until regulation time expired. The crowd noise was jet engine on full power.
LSU scored a TD on 3rd down and goal to eclipse Alabama's 3 point lead. The TD TOOK PLACE on the end zone that happened be next too the student section in Tuscaloosa and Bryant-Denny Stadium was under renovation at that time in (2005).
The students threw cups, whiskey, shoes, bottles, car keys, hats and anything they could find at LSU's football team. SUDDEN DEATH!!
