Completely agree with this ^^ and I’m conservative. No idea how you were downvoted. Only for the pure fact somebody hates Lebron.

I’ve been saying Moffitt needs to go since Les’ last few years. It’s painfully obvious.

i think its so funny....people who dont know shite thinking that moffit hasnt kept up with training techniques, programming changes etc.....you dont know shite.

our problems with S&C have nothing to do with the fricking programming or the sports science part of things as us and bama are 2 of the absolute best in the nation in those departments.

difference is at Bama there is a culture of accountability, period. and that starts at the top.

LSU HAS A frickING CULTURE PROBLEM, PERIOD!!!

Now with all that said, MOFFITT does need to go, but its not because he hasnt kept up with programming etc(which really hasnt changed much since the soviets did all the work for us in the 70s).

Moffitt needs to go because his message has become stale. Period. The weightroom is nothing but GPP anyways and without a message that resonates, programming doesnt matter. Now maybe Im wrong and its just the head coach and lack of accountability since the divorce, but we certainly have an issue.

but all you fat fricks with BMIs above 30 sitting on here discussing S&C like you have a frickign clue. All you see are the results, not the process. The process isnt broken, its the fricking message, accountability and overall culture that is broken and completely destroyed. The culture is way worse than any of yall know. No accountability at all. That is why Moffitt needs to go, the kids dont listen or respect him anymore.

Correct. We get pushed all over the field. Has been a problem for a while.

We need better results.

understand that, what i am saying is the results are from a lack of accountabilty and the overall culture problem. It doesnt stem from programming or lack of sports science.

also stems from the terrible recruiting and evals along the lines.

This is the nail on the head...

Furthermore, Moffitt doesn't just do his thing for the football team either. He works with the entire spectrum of sports at LSU. What most people do not realize is that in most cases, the training program starts with the head coach and coordinators. Moffitt merely designs the program around the goals set by others.

If Moffitt was a problem, the other head coaches within LSU's athletic department would be asking for a change.

Any other opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

Want proof, talk to the NFL strength coaches about LSU players compared to other top teams, to a man they will say the LSU players are physically weak.

Why have they drafted 39 of them in the last 5 years? Including 10 first Rd picks

Which players are weak?

What does it mean to be a strength and conditioning coach? Why could Lebron James not have expertise in this?

Because Lebron James doesn’t know how to periodize strength training or have any clue when it comes to sports science and movement patterns.

Keep eating your Cheetos.

You know this how? So he has likely been instructed in same for many years, yet he knows nothing? Not a very convincing position, George?

Been saying for the past few years he needed to go. You could see the linemen getting weaker, softer and more out of shape. Not all of them but several of them were. You really didn’t see the wr’s and db’s bulking up. The combine also showed evidence of the team being weaker ( 225 reps ).

I’m sure Lebron studies exercise science between practice and training table.

Guarantee you’re a fatass who doesn’t exercise.

Cordale Flott, jay Ward, raydar, Harris, Lewis. I’m probably missing some, but those come to mind right off hand. Even Chase, JJ and Marshall left basically as big as they were when they showed up. Combine wise, there are very few that go over 30+ reps for the linemen.

Yep, all the fatass ot guys on here telling people LeBron knows more about training than moffit

Idiots.

Like I said, moffit prolly needs to go just due to needing a fresh message.

But in the end, he is director, he doesn't just work with football. There is a football s&c hc that works for moffit.

But the lineman issues stem from shitty fricking recruiting. And far as kids not getting bigger, that mainly comes to diet, do some of you idiots really think moffit is telling kids not to eat in a surplus or the dietician that is on staff is telling them that?

fricking dumb as frick.

If moffit needs to go needs to be decided by the next coach and you idiots need to understand the issue is really culture and recruiting, piss poor evals to be correct.

With all his years of success, Moffit decided to make this years team soft? Give me a break. He was just a victim of numerous freak injuries . This fan base is delusional. Was Moffit our strengh coach in 2019?
