His real strategy is to keep playing Jefferson until the game starts slipping away and then put all the pressure on Lee to save the day. its clear.

Not defending the answer just saying Miles didn't dodge the question at all.

He truly believes JJ has skills. You don't?

Doucet did not ask a question. He ranted which is okay for this board but not for a professional journalist, which he is not.

I agree that Ducet should have actually asked a question, however it doesn't excuse the rest of the media for not asking tough questions and actually following up until they get a cogent response.

Okay. These are differences between YOUR assessment and Miles'. HE gets to choose.Again, he risks the ire of the fanbase (obviously), but, he gets to make the choice based upon what HE believes is best to secure the win. He is either correct, and the fans can eat dogcrap all the way to ATL....or, he is wrong and risks a much quicker trigger than would normally occur.

But, he does NOT owe it to you to "see it your way" or the answer the same questions repetitively.

Q: Why JJ so much?
A: I like his 'skillset'

DONE!

This! If Les thinks LEE does better after watching a series or two before coming in then its his call. I would much rather Lee be starting but im not coaching the team. Just enjoy the ride. Its supposed to be fun to watch these games fans need to chill.

Of course, it takes great skill and effort to get 4 net yards on McNeese.

Not sure Lee could have run that far vs the Vols or scored on that broken play vs Gators either.

maybe its a confidence issue with Lee.

JJ goes in and absolutely stinks up the joint as usual because well he's horrible. So then when we go to Lee because Lee's thinking "hell I can't suck any worse than that guy" and plays balls to the wall.

Its the only reasonable explanation I have at this point.

Scored on the play were JJ ran the wrong play vs the gators. fixed

I am sure Lee could have handed the ball to Ridley and got the same result.

In sports, what's the point of a tough question?

What if someone asks Les Miles how many years he has been coaching and he answers, "yellow"? He answered the question, but his response made no sense. So does the reporter just keep quiet, or ask a follow up question like "But yellow isn't a number, can you explain that response?" Basically, Les Miles' only reason for playing JJ is so that teams have to prepare for two QBs. That's funny, because LSU fans are worried to death about Auburn, and they only play one QB.

Nice, you make way too much sense to be hangin around here.
