Please forgive my struggles filling this summary. The first one is more difficult for me than the ones following due to several factors including my unfamiliarity of the players, my forgetfullness of the stats I need to keep up with, and my inattention of the action due to my visiting with my scrimmage friends who I have not seen since the last home series of the previous season. I promise improvement is coming, soon.
Looking forward to seeing these guys settle in and compete. There is ferocious competition across the board with the talent Jay and Coach Jordan have assembled.

Well crap. Either way I missed seeing Schmidt pitch because I will miss the remainder of the weekend due to travel.

John Pearson looks a tad bit overweight but he can move. I don't know about straight line speed but there is explosiveness in a small area. He has been getting reps at 3B. I'm really intrigued by him but I think it's going to be hard for any freshman to break into the starting lineup.

I an not hitting a panic button
but I would love if Shmidt wasn’t the one to post that stat line.

You'll have to elaborate, bc the numbers don't say that....
Defensively is what he means. We struggled last year with dropped strikes and passed balls. Basic receiving of easy pitches to catch were a problem at times.

Gotta find Dickinson a spot in this lineup IMO.
He's definitely starting. My guess is 3B for obvious reasons.

We have an all new battery this year behind the plate. They need lots of work.
