This really says it all. What good are groceries or top ten recruiting classes if you don't know what to do with them once you got 'em?

This is one of the Weakest post I have ever read on this board. Miles is a fool. He won early with the talent that Saban brought in and groomed. Those players had the right mind set and the skills to play in the SEC. Miles can recurit the players with the skills, but he cant finish the job after that. Look back since he had gotten here and prove that wrong.

I used to hate this until this year. Unfortunately, this is the truth.

If LM's team will go 8-5 again next year, do you keep him???

U of Florida didn't keep R. Zook after 3 seasons like that and hired UM. The BIG question is who is the next UM???

So we needed another post about coach Miles? Put your opinion in one of the other 100 posts already out there. This whole thing is very distasteful. Please people give it a rest.

Oh yes, that is the measure of a $4 million coach; compare him to me. If it was from someone other then you, I would be flattered.

Watching Miles/Crowton at work over the past couple of seasons, what makes you think things will improve? We squeak by crappy teams and lose to top 25 teams. This is a consistent. His teams are never prepared. Never. The past is a good indicator of the future. I'm sure you'll have your bag full of excuses next year at this time as well.

No one has a freaking legit excuse as to why Miles was successful when he got here, but when he recruits his own team, he fails. Nothing.

You really are of the most retarded posters on this board. Saban brought us power, and won a title. Miles inherited a freaking gold mine, thats how he won a title. How is he doing now?

Well, judging from a number of your post, you have a lot of experience with being "retarded".

How is he doing now?

Well, he's winning 80% of his games, 80% of his bowl games, 100% of his BCS bowl games, won the west 40% of the time, been ranked in the top 5 60% of the time, nationally ranked 80% of the time, and winning 100% of his NC games.

So, I would have to say that overall he's don't pretty dang good.

am sorry, his game management has nothing to do with Nick Saban.

The end of the OleMiss and PSU games have nothing to do with Nick Saban.

His time management in SC08 and Tenn 07 have nothing to do with Nick Saban.

Him trying to call a timeout on an INT in 05 against Tenn has nothing to do with Nick Saban.

The man is a moron, and that has nothing to do with Nick Saban
I cannot argue against any of those points.

I think with most LSU fans Les was on the fence, but after his brain went dead in the Ole Miss game I think he really lost a lot of fans

You really are not getting the point of my post are you?

So let me break it down for you, ok?

If Houston Nutt took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Steve Spurrier took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Tommy Tubberville took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Joe Paterno took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Mark Richt took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Mike Leach took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

If Sylvester Croom took over in 2005, could he have as much as success in 2005, 2006, and 2007 if not better, as we had?

No matter what Les Miles does, he will always be compared to Nick Saban.

Les Miles will be compared to every SEC West coach because he plays them every year. Every SEC West coach is gunning for Saban because he has not lost one regular season SEC game in 2 years. Every SEC West coach (not just Miles) is going to be measured against their ability to compete with Saban. This is especially true because in the last 2 years none have proved they can compete with Saban over an entire season. Saban is the standard and Miles is definitely not no matter how you slice it. Miles has more to worry about than just Saban. He has got to be a good top 25 football team and soon.
