Despite everything, the quotes in that article show that Lee remained classy to the very end.

Lol?

JJ/JL crap will be on the rant for the next 6 months or longer. People can't help themselves.

Blackwell, emotional from the loss but seemingly crystal clear on his outlook, pointed to the identity and efficiency of the offense when Jefferson was suspended and Lee was the starter.

In the end, with the team’s star receiver and the most decorated offensive lineman stepping up and singing his praises, the love for Lee shined through for a final time.

After reading this article I really feel the pain for the players...after delivering all season they deserved better!

Do I trust Les Miles to which players give us the best chance to win?
and if a player has to answer no to either one of those questions... not good.. hell, its bad that its even a question..

You realize they likely practiced him in the case that JJ got hurt. Why is anyone shocked at all after last year and the SEC CG as to what happened?

Les was pathetically stupid and stubborn and refused to make a change. Look how long it too him to make a small change last year despite JJ being utterly horrible.

Lee was only getting in the game if JJ got hurt. That is it.

Miles lost on purpose, so he wouldn't be proven wrong about JLee. . .because JLee was going to lead us to a comeback win.

just because Lee took reps doesnt mean Miles was gonna play him.

U think Miles would tell Lee, go chill on the sidelines while we prepare for bama? Hell, JJ getting injured was pretty plausible vs this bama D. Lee needed to be ready.

He took gameplan reps. He was part of the game-prep & installation. The offensive guys expected him to play.

Come on guys--- Miles has been saying EVERY week, for WEEKS not that Lee was part of the game plan. In fact this week he said "Lee will make big contributions early in the game". CLM has 0 credibility when it comes to these statements. Lee part of the gameplan= Lee will not play (even if he is needed)

Without a doubt, this was the first time a backup participated in practice and might have played in a game. Conspiracy confirmed.

I think he intended to play Lee, but

No, he only used the threat of playing Lee to occupy a little of Bama's game plan. No intention of playing him at all.

Look at his comments regarding the last few games!
"Lee will play" that means take a knee. JFK's speach writer couldn't smooth thinks over. Only JJ apologist will pretend every things great.

And you people wonder why players like Landon Collins choose Alabama, the fans were boo-ing their QB and talking trash about the head coach, would you want to play for LSU?

this. when you have factions on your team that are vocal about which QB they want to play for, you have to try something to keep them from revolting. The problem, IMO, is that the players stopped believing the lie prior to the Championship Game. And, they didn't believe that they could beat Bama again with JJ.

Yep. I remember an article from last week where RR was quoted as saying they'd been getting about 50/50 snaps in practice.

Collins went to Bama because of Jordan Jefferson.

It could have happened, therefore it must have happened.

I respect Miles and whether you think it or not, he is a top5 coach, but I have noises why he didn't put Lee in after the failed shovel pass by JJ. The qb play couldn't have gotten any worse period
