I love Leach.............as long as I'm not playing against him.
What a genuine character.

Who was it that was throwing to Crabtree that year? That team was certainly dangerous.

It's gonna be crazy thinking about Orgeron, Saban, Kiffin, Leach and Jimbo all in the same division of the same conference. Wow.
Meanwhile Clemson gets to basically win the ACC with their second string.
The ACC Atlantic coaches outside of Dabo have a combined record at P5 schools of 114-113

Who will be the first SecW Coach fired of this new group?
I think it’s a toss up between Gus and Pittman

The current USC OC
Leach is going to be closest to the most fertile recruiting ground in the country. And his Texas roots are still there as well, I’m sure. Leach in the southeast where the recruiting grounds is as fertile as they come is seriously going to cause issues.

Prob Pittman. Though I also wouldn't be surprised to see kiffin flake out after a couple of years and go elsewhere.

8 years at Washington State and you boys are praising the hire of a coach who posted a 55-47 record at a PAC12
school. Lol.
school. Lol.

One year? Nope, Mike Leach All-time record 47-33 at TT and 36-36 at WSU both in crap conferences especially the PAC 12 over his WSU tenure.
Furthermore, he has 20-51 record against top 25 teams.
I'll tell you what I believe. I believe he's coaching Mississippi State and IF he wins 10 games an any given year including the bowl game I'll ban myself from this board FOREVER!
Kiffin at Ole Miss scares me a whole lot more than Mike freaking Leach!

They come, they try, they get fired.

Neither Kiffen nor Leach will ever win the SECW while coaching where they are now. Never.

I agree. I just think Kiffen is slimy enough to field a competitive team at Ole Miss and may beat LSU once or twice every ten years, where as...I mean come on it's Mississippi State

Nevermind hes going to be in 5x the recruiting grounds he was than TTech and Wash. St.
Being around recruits doesn’t make you a recruiter, especially if you have made it clear that you don’t give a shite about big time recruiting in the past. He likes his guys that he chooses for his system. I don’t see him deviating from that.

Texas Tech is still in Texas? Is Starkville 5 x better for recruiting than Lubbock? Not to mention he's going to be fighting Ole Miss, Bama, LSU, Auburn and Georgia for Mississippi's top kids and he's only getting the leftovers from everywhere else.
Lubbock TX is in the middle of BFE. About as far west Texas as you’re going to get before you run into Colorado.
Speaking of BFE, Know where Pullman is at? Check out google maps. Hard easy do you think it is to sell recruits to Wazzu?
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, East Texas are all a little bit closer to Miss St than they are Lubbock and Pullman.
Apparently you think I’m saying he’s going to be an ace recruiter and I’m not. I’m just saying that he’s proven that he doesn’t need the highest of profile kids to be successful. But he will have MORE high profile kids than he did at those two schools because there will be more options for him to choose from in the area he’s in...
He didn’t recruit half bad at Texas Tech once he got his program rolling.
But hey, it’s your story...tell it like you want

Some team's going to have to absorb a lot of losses. Looks like that will be Arkansas.
I mean that's not really the standard for them. Even Mullen's team that he coached to #1 didn't win the SECw. They're going to raise hell and make it tough for the other West teams though.

It’s a revolving door at the coaching position with the bottom feeders of the SEC. We need a coach’s transfer portal in the SEC.

Leach is Les Miles of the West, says goofy shite keeps getting jobs.
The guy won 43 games in the last 5 seasons at WSU. Before this season, he didn’t win less than 8. Are you even aware of the history of the Wazzu program?
Leach had the best winning percentage in Wazzu history.
PAC-12 Coach of the Year twice at Wazzu
is the first and only coach in the Washington State football program history to win the AFCA Coach of the Year.
6 straight bowl games. Never been done there
But yeah, sure. Leach sucks.
