I think Coach Miles is a good coach. The man dont care to call any play and any time and I like that from a fan standpoint. Looking forward to watching Miles and Saban go at it in a few days. Good luck Tigers and hope we both go injury free.

c'mon guys, coach Miles is okay as a coach, but would't it be fair to say he won a NC based solely on the talent the Tigers had.

saban has played 15 different freshmen this year...with two having started every game

Thats a big damn difference from what you said. Saban has plenty of talent left by the previous Coach. He has a very steady Senior QB (Something Mile's does not have)...very good depth at RB, a very experienced and good O-line which Saban did not build...a seasoned defense (number of Juniors) with a slight sprinkling of youth. Most of Saban's success this year is NOT with his talent. Miles used more of his own talent last year than Saban is using this year.

What about Texas, FL, Au, GA, Ok, USC, did they not have talent?

I coulda swore they all had highly rated players, practice fields and shite like that.....oh well, live and learn.

not really....and who doesn't win national championships without ALOT of talent? Not sure I understand this. Mile's has BLOWN OUT every bowl opponent he has faced including OSU in the BCSCG. It just has to be more than talent.

Saban went 9-3 after his BCSCG and had a huge amount of talent right? Or did LSU just miraculously have a huge amount of talent when Miles took over the very next year?...which is all I heard from many doubters.

that's not what I'm saying , with all the talent LSU has had anyone could have won a title, now, with some of his recruits emerging we'll see what kind of coach he is.

Saban is a great coach as well....completely different approach, but great coach.

But you cant come on here and like em both, you gotta love one and hate the other , there is only one great coach in America.

Nothing like throwing yourself under the bus.

Les Miles won a national championship and you are not on his bandwagon.

Laughing my arse off.

I know our former QB said Miles was great at pumping the team up but Saban was 10x the coach.

That being said, I still think the game could go either way Sat.

If I had to bet, I would bet Alabama wins but I still think its a 50/50 chance. (ok maybe 40/60)

Anyone? Someone needs to tell Mark Richt that...or the fat man at Notre Dame...or a number of other coaches who have not been as successful with alot of talent.

Come on...you really dont believe ANYONE can win 40 games in under 4 seasons with 3 blowout wins in bowl games, a national championship, and 2 conference championships?

Miles is a good coach, maybe not a great one, but he's a good coach. You could make a pretty good argument that Saban's bad days are way worse than Miles' - for example, losing to ULM is unforgivable, Miles has never done anything that bad. This is a new team, with a new quarterback, and new defensive coaching. Anyone who doesn't factor that into how our season turns out should shut up.
