How did the coaching staff miss on Martinez? He should’ve been starting for game 1.

He was phenomenal against UF.
They didn't. He's been playing alot. Except for his first 3 plays (McNeese?) he's been great. Those first 3 were bad with a whiff, a missed assignment, and a penalty. After that it has been smooth sailing.

My head scratcher is why it isn't Wire vs. Dellinger for LT instead of Wire vs. Bradford. Bradford has been struggling immensely in passpro.

Because when the opposing DC looks at the LSU tapes from the season (pre Florida) they see a team that totally relies on big passing plays to move the ball and score. LSU showed no intent to run the ball and were very inept when they tried. The offense against Auburn and Kentucky had basically become "get the ball in Boutee's hands and hope he can make a big play". The running game the second half was at Kentucky was playing into Kentucky's hands as they allowed us to run out the clock on ourselves as we were behind.

Against Florida, without Boutee, the offensive staff had to try something different, and Florida prepared like every other team. So we were able to run.
