FWIW they used to be darker and have faded.
Good thing I did not say anything, you seem to be a little sensitive about them.

Worn them to every game home and away for 2 years now. Nowhere near sensitive about them...

Slightly off topic, but what the hell is up with the stores there not selling cases of beer that are more than 18-pack??

I have never had that problem before. Was it just Publix or other stores?

Make a note of this for next time:
Gator Beverage on University Ave. has the best beer selecton in the city and will sell you case(s) of anything. I bought a case of Turbo Dog and a case of Abita Pecan Saturday morning as the selection at Publix was weak.

It's disappointing to hear about these negative experiences. Hopefully, they were the minority.

Our hotel was down the street, so we only went there. But I've never seen a grocery not have 24 packs of beer, or such a limited selection.

Just used to walking into a wal-mart here and picking up all the beer and liquor needed...

Thanks for the tip, we'll be back in '10.

Kentucky fans were still worse IMO

haha, i live up here, go to their rival institution, have many friends that were there, and was actually there this weekend

i still get shite all the time, but it is good natured. if you knew really what that meant to them when they beat us, you would give them a break. tha was like their first big win ever in an sec gtame at thei place in a long time

comparing uk fans and gainesville fans is just retarded. uk women are way hotter too

two of my buddies got tickets for standing on the sidewalk with beers. I guess its their own fault b/c they knew the rules but its still shitty.

Their tailgating is better than UF's, but it will suck this weekend because the fair is in town. I found the majority of their fans to be pretty nice, but it will get ugly if we lose. The stadium loses points for not being on campus, but it gets pretty rowdy, especially for night games. Their band sucks and their team still enters the stadium to the music from "2001: A Space Odyssey". It was cool in its day but it's kinda lame now. If you went to Gainesville last weekend and had the displeasure of interacting with their a-hole fans, the Carolina folks will be a treat for you.

I tend to agree with most accounts. I think the last time I went was in the mid 90's (96?) and swore I'd never return. It used to be fun when I was a little younger and full of piss and vinegar. Don't get me wrong, I still love the emotion of the game and all but my patience has worn thin with azzhole fans. I know we have plenty in our backyard too but at least they're our azzholes. As was stated earlier, the pregame attitudes aren't so bad but once you enter the stadium, Jekyll and Hyde. I'll continue to catch this one on TV.
