We had no problems with the fans and agree the tailgating is mediocre, at best. But the stadium is electric and every bit as loud as Tiger Stadium. I can't imagine how loud it would have been if this was a close game.

I'd go back.

the experience was quite terrible.

Same here. Their tailgating is boring, our tailgating neighbors were quick to make Katrina comments. Douche would have been clocked if the cop wasn't nearby doing ID checks.

All in all it was just blah. Too much oversight from the police (I'm guessing their fans can't be trusted) and an overall lack of knowledge on the part of their fanbase.

UK Fans are still the worst by far.

Well I see you have met the gators. Yes every school has some of those it is just that UF has way more of them.

Very true. Not denying at all that LSU has some classles individuals, but they are in droves in Gainesville and Lexington.

Yea, I write UK off as being new to the game and not acting like they've been there.

UF, however, doesn't have an excuse.

ETA: I thought we'd be done hearing the Katrina comments in 2008...apparently not.

See, and we had a great time at Kentucky, besides the loss. Very gracious people, lame tailgating that we managed to spice up, the best bourbon by far of ALL SEC schools, and just a great, small tailgate.

UF is no longer on the list of road games.

With UF fans, its all about the game, and that's it. You see it in the lack of tailgating, in the intensiveness during the game, in the utter lack of reality in thinking UF has NEVER committed a penalty in The Swamp. With LSU fans, it's the overall of the entire game day experience, which makes it more like a festival, culminating in the game.

They were not just nuts ... they were UGLY. In my book UGLY is never called for ... unless I'm drunk and I'm reacting to Florida fans shite.

I will never make the trip. I don't want to see for myself. I have heard enough bad things. What do you expect from a school that should be in the ACCC...they sure as heel aren't southern in the way that Auburn, Bama, UGA, etc. are. Their fans were jerk-offs in baton Rouge last year...the ones that were in the Varsity anyway.

I would hate to have that experience, get our asses kicked 51-21, and have to drive that trip home.

One thing I loved abou the game is that the UF fans by us didnt understand why the student section was still having fun, dancing, cheering down 20 points. I loved that

We were above the students and we didn't quit either ... some florida fan was taking pics of LSU people with "the defeated look" .. he aimed at me and a friend and we just smiled and looked cute! F 'em!

Gainesville =trash. gator fans are prolly too dumb to even know we have the most SEC and national titles this decade.
