that actually is a pretty good idea. For a game of this magnitude to have there homer refs calling the game is an outrage. Why wouldn't the SEC go for that? Doubt a Big 10 crew would play favorites.

A split crew made up of Tulane/Tenn or Auburn grads would keep it pretty even. Of course there would probably be offsetting flags every down

You could see the concern Saban had about that prior to the season. I remember he said LSU has us circled on their schedule...you have to get focused etc and that was in August

No doubt. Good talkin' to ya, TT. Bedtime! Looking forward to the battle on Nov 5!

The refs from the LSU-Florida game even said that the taunting penalty wouldn't have been called if it was a bigger game. I'm not really worried. I encourage our team to get in Bama's heads. They were REALLY good at that for the Oregon and WVU games.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - Alabama has played disciplined football through five games and ranks second nationally in fewest penalties per game. The Tide has committed 15 penalties in five games for 148 yards, an average of three penalties per game and 29.6 yards per game

Disciplined football of a blind eye? An amazing stat for any team.

We all know that the refs in this game will be looking at any reason to throw a flag on the Tigers.

You mean reasons like this....

Yes Ricky, in fact if any players even start talking crap in practice or over celbrating, Les needs to strip their scholly and teach them a lesson.

I don't seem to remember Saban's LSU teams being that disciplined
