Dude is one of the best DTs in the league.

What was the violation that forced him to leave? Improper housing?

Also, it shows rankings aren’t everything, either. He was the 20th rather Juco player when he came here.

What’s really sad is Sean Payton and the Saints didn’t see his talent!

The team that drafted him couldn't see his talent? You serious, Clark?

While they did draft him, they didn't use him properly. That caused Hicks to get into it with coaches. That lead to him being traded so they basically didn't see his real talent even with drafting him.

Bill Johnson was the coach who F’d up Hicks stay in NO. Johnson had Hicks playing DE as a speed rusher in the 3-4 defense. The dude has the frame (6’ 4” 350 lbs) of a larger Vince Wilfork and should have been over the guard - center eating up blocks and double teams. Peyton got pissed with Hicks poor performance at DE , benched him after a nasty tirade during a game, and traded him for for Michael Who-man-foo-man-Choo-man .

Pretty sure he was in the 3-4 scheme while Ryan was DC similar to how he is now. Not sure how else to use a 6'-5" 350lb man but to put him on the line and have him eat up blocks.

Obscure NCAA rule that says coaches can't have burner phones, give recruits free trucks and apartments, then lie about it all.

Learn how to spell & Belichick wanted him back yet the Pats couldn't afford to resign him. It wasn't because he didn't get along with Belichick retard. STFU

quote:

In the hours before Hicks accepted a two-year contract to join the Bears in March 2016, he spoke with Patriots coach Bill Belichick on the phone. Belichick wanted Hicks to stay with the Patriots, who had traded tight end Michael Hoomanawanui for him the previous season.

quote:

‘‘I really enjoyed my time there,’’ Hicks said. ‘‘I really enjoyed coach Belichick, no matter what [the media says] about how quiet he is. I think he’s a great guy and a great coach in this league. He helped me out tremendously.’’

quote:

‘What he does is, he’s hard to block,’’ Belichick said. ‘‘It doesn’t make any difference what the play is. You can run to him, and he’s hard to block. You can run away from him, and he makes tackles for loss on the back side.

‘‘He’s quick and can get around those blocks when there’s more space back there because everybody is going to the front side. He can power-rush. He can rush the edges with his quickness. He’s a very, very disruptive player.’’

I think it was related to the WRs coach McCarthy (who was let go after '08 but told D. Byrd to "catch the #@!% ball" at Auburn).

I was going to explain this to you, but see below:
