one thing i noticed is that Harris is very poised and very good on 3rd downs. the throw to Dupre should have been caught if not for his head slamming the ground.
on the third down roll out to the right, jeter allowed his guy into the backfield, which caused Harris to have to throw it 12-15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. could have been a run/pass option if not for that.

at 3:07 why is that not encroachment on the defense?
Glad it wasn't on this play, but just wondering

Yep, I watched the receivers pre-game before Auburn. Most of their warm up catches were one-handed. Appears they need to get 100% with two hands first.

Great video man, thanks!

Harris can sling it. Even his touch was much better than previous games.
There's still not much between the hashes and to Harris' credit, a lot of those were tough throws. There also were a lot of long developing routes which places a ton of pressure on the OL

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, and really couldn't care less whether or not you agree with me. Just watch the video and the games, and bump your football IQ a couple points. I love Brandon Harris, but not enough to lie to myself about his deficiencies.

Good video, thanks for the post.

Yeah. Thanks OP! I love it. Try to get that Auburn game up so that moron saying Harris is a one-read quarterback can see him check down to Jeter in the third quarter of that game.

Nice work. Keep them coming.

didn't get to see Quinn's reception b/c I missed the first few minutes of the game. Nice catch and run. Hopefully we'll get to see more of that soon

Definitely. Auburn is next. Then just the 1st quarter of State...

Are you judging that he doesn't come off first read from the 2 throw aways? One was a 1 receiver route and the other was a rollout they got push on that side causing him to go further away from line then designed.
All of his other throws were on point for the most part and to open guys so I really don't see how you've come to that conclusion. No saying you're wrong just that I don't know if we can come to that conclusion yet.

Diarse missed three he should have had. One of them he should have used two hands and may have been difficult, and then two more on that one drive which were very easy. Step it up JD9!!!
He had some drops. In all fairness though, one of those balls came in like a freaking major league fastball. Harris slung one at him while on the run that left me going damn.

Those throws from the opposite hash.

Thanks for the post. Harris looks way better than I thought. I guess I'm just not 100% confident in him, but this video changed some of that uneasiness. The solid play by Harris was overshadowed. He was accurate and didn't make any huge mental mistakes when under pressure. I'd would like to see him hit Dural in stride on the post though...
Can you do the same thing with Fournette's carries?

Yeah, that video showed what I already know...he's showing maturity each game. When asked to make the throws he does.
Positives:
-Saw him going through progressions on a few pass...can't tell you how good this is for a young QB
-Relatively accurate on deeper passes and throws a pretty ball at times
-Situational awareness and poise for a young QB...no critical mistakes
-Several drops that would've easily padded his stats(same for every game this year)
-His arm strength is excellent. Even throwing off the back foot he made some beautiful deeper throws with touch. He can make all the throws with his arm.
Negatives:
-Can get happy feet under pressure and throws off back foot sometimes when he doesn't need to or holds the ball too long
-Leaves WRs hanging on some higher passes but they still should be caught as he doesn't give defenders an opportunity to make a play
-Mechanics at times(mostly under pressure)
-Bad reads on who to throw to
Overall, I really like Harris progression this season and really believe that if we're undefeated by the time we play our last 4 games this team can be special.
