We have an Upper Class QB this year and hows that working? Just because its an upperclassman doesnt mean they are good. In dallas for Oregon, at West Virginia, at Alabama, we wont be mentioned for a BCSNC by no one

Like I said, we shall see as it all plays out. I think we're gonna be pretty solid in 2011, though.

I would feel bad for Miles if he left.

A voice of reason in a world gone mad.

I get just as frustrated with Miles as the next guy, but IMO there's a huge difference in constructive criticism and just blind, blanket-statements tearing down our coach and our program.
It's not debatable that Miles has done a tremendous job at LSU. Could we have done better in some instances? Certainly. But at this point, what he's done pretty much stands on its own, and calls for his job at this point are so laughable and irrational to me.

If you really don't like THE LSU FOOTBALL TEAM AND THIER COACH'S...why the hell don't you just go somewhere else and be a fan of another team...DO US ALL A FAVOR..we really are tired of your dumb supid ignorant rampages about problems that every other team has at times....so, in other words,....STFU...

I realize it's become widely popular among those on the radio on the Rant to be critical of our coaching staff - particularly our head coach - and the state of our program. And I must admit, whether it's right or wrong to let it affect me, the negativity does affect me as a fan and certainly takes away some of my enjoyment of something that I really cherish: LSU football. So congratulations to you, negatigers - you have helped to dimimish the enjoyment of the game for one of the biggest LSU fans in existence. You've succeeded.
I'm serious 81, if anything posted on this message board effects your enjoyment of LSU football to the extent you describe, ya might want to stay away and/or seek professional psychiatric help.

If you've got constructive criticism(s), as we all do, that's one thing. But to continually attack and ridicule our program and coaching staff is not only aggrivating to many of us, it's quite simply unproductive.
Once again, if what's said on here is that aggravating to you, voluntarily stay away for your own benefit. I disagree with a lot of opinions on here, but that's just what they are: Opinions. Could care less what anybody elses personal opinion is. If I read something I disagree with, I'll state my counter opinion, but nothing bothers me so much that it takes away from my enjoyment of LSU football. It's just bat shite

LOL, oh there's no question that I'm a bit psychotic when it comes to LSU football. You'll get no argument from me there.
That said, over the years, I've realized how much passion (and irrationality) that I naturally have in regards to LSU football, so I try to temper my emotions to at least be a little bit more objective on issues surrounding the Tigers. I just wish more fans would realize that WE'RE ALL passionate about LSU football, and therefore we go overboard sometimes AND WE'RE ALL A LITTLE IRRATIONAL at times, whether it be too positive or too negative. We get too high after wins often, and definitely too low after losses.
Everybody just needs to take a Paxil and chill ... things are never as good as they may seem, and things are certainly never as bad as they may seem. That's the main point I'm trying to make. The national championship talk after beating Florida was definitely a little overboard by our fans, and in the same sense The roof has not caved in after the loss to Auburn.
