they finally crashed through the pressure barrier last year with the 23 game win streak.had unc on the ropes at one point.expect lsu to be better.i expect lsu to make a run this year.may not win it but i think they get close to the championship series.

As far as there pitching will take them. We proved we had the bats last year. You can't win tournament ball without a solid pitching rotation. The days of winning with Gorilla ball are dead and gone. With the new way the tournament is set up, you have to have a solid rotation.

returning 7 starters is insane. especially considering how many guys hit over 300 last year. if dean lives up to his preseason all american hype and the three sophomore starters (landry, gibbs, lemahieu) make strides from their already tremendous play last yera as freshmen, we'll be sick.

FWIW last time tigers were ranked #1 preseason they won it all.

i think they'll make it to the CWS finals.
