Been listening to these espn studio women trash the Lady Tigers. Makes me sick. They hate us and love UCLA. The catcher planted her arse in front of the plate. Her intention was clearly to keep our runner from reaching the plate. Earlier in the game, our catcher did not block the baseline. She swept the tag. Like you're supposed to. These people piss me off. I hope our girls can win it all. Then I'll be watching to see how these biased a-hole react. Go Tigers. Do it.

In the game thread, one poster said that one of the commentators is married to a former UCLA player and was very biased. Not sure, but no way of knowing as the majority of the softball players are lesbians.

Yup, its extremely disrespectful. Its been a full day of why LSU doesn't deserve to play Florida. They completely took everything our ladies did and just trashed us on national television all day.

Yet LSU was screwed many times throughout earlier and no one acknowledges that. Also the strike zone between Walljasper and Garcia weren't even close. Alli was screwed out of some many calls that extended innings

Let the ladies use it as a chip on their shoulder to win the whole damn thing.

All of this blocking the plate and rule book definition. The other plays at the plate all day, the catchers have not completely blocked the entire path to the plate. The UCLA catcher did.

I use to laugh at people who claimed a PAC-12 bias in softball. Then someone pointed out to me that they ranked the sec. 1,8,9,16. Pretty much guaranteeing you eliminate 3 sec teams from Oklahoma City.

Now when I listen to the announcers in a SEC vs PAC-12 game it sounds like the UConn vs. Miss St. game where it's a bunch of has beens, bitter their school isn't doing well.

That's a little melodramatic. They think the call was wrong. Who cares? Tigers win, and if they win it all they'll get the praise they deserve. No one has an agenda here.

The softball players I have seen in recent years look very nice compared to about 20 years ago. I have always had a soft spot for those Arizona teams

Listening to the announcers even before the game started I though LSU had no chance, they were praising UCLA big time.

It was that from Day 1

LSU wouldn't make it out their regional

LSU can't beat FSU

All this team does is shut everyone up, its hilarious.

We are a much better team than what our record and SEC play looks like.

We have two all american type pitchers.

Two first team all american first team players

But we do have 3 true freshmen playing

LSU is extremely talented and deadly, and when we are on we can beat almost anyone. People just expect us to be out powered but we havent been

I don't buy that. PAC-12 had a 3, 6, and another combo that will prevent them from doing the same thing. SEC had LSU and UM 12 and 13, also. They try to prevent one conference from overrepresnting, but it isn't a bad thing IMO.

I noticed that three of the four first round matchups today were conference opponents. The only one that wasn't was LSU and UCLA.
