Thamel spoke about it briefly this morning. Guess it was not the result they wanted,

Pat said it was time to put it behind us and all the hosts agreed. Pete Thamel is desperate for it to stay in the news because he enjoys the cuck chair

ESPN wanted this to go away from the jump

Think they want the SEC booting one of their top brands?

My favorite was the juxtaposition of calling the Arizona TRO 5for5 players great additions to their team and then directly follow that up with how LSU is bad

Neither of the three they are bringing in signed a pro contract. That’s “legal”.

Burying it?

It’s not really a big deal anymore now that the SEC has punted. He did say the “drama continues” which is really all you can say about it.

In reality, the only fanbase this matters to is LSU (and Ole Miss/Tenn)

A-fricking-men!

The organization, the other programs, their fans, the Presidents/Chancellors, Sankey and his media lapdogs: Finebaum, Dellinger, "Locked on SEC", et al.

They can all eat a bag of dicks.

not according to geniuses on the rant, LSU "bent the knee." in reality, the SEC and Greg S*****y would have gotten obliterated in the courts if they wanted to dance. it was like showing up at the quarry for a fight and they have baseball bats and we have AK47s and went "we good? we good."

Naw, once it got started, ESPN encouraged it. TV viewers tune in for controversy and LSU/SEC was perfect for generating controversy. When given the opportunity, tv will always generate controversy. ESPN didn't have to endorse one side or the other. All they had to do was give airtime to folks they knew were going to say controversial, and sometimes inflammatory, things. Why do you think Paul Finebaum was given so much airtime. If ESPN didn't like his take, they wouldn't have shown him so much.

You mean from the script that is handed to them daily to say which direction to take it and to make sure there’s a debate from both sides?
