Per more than one source on the radio, suspension for failed drug test means it was a second violation. According to the "LSU rules", that means either not playing 20% of the season or 30 days. If this is true, then they are out, whether that be Ware, Mathieu, Simon or all three or a combination, for the Auburn, Alabama, WKU and Ole Miss games. They would be able to come back to the Arkansas game.
Seriously, how can anyone be this stupid

Kick that arse off the team. Miles needs to put a stop to this bullshite. Your the #1 team in the nation and all eyes are on you, you need to act like it. You can be the best player in the nation but if you do stupid shite, the hell with you, get your arse out of the program.
Dude, GTFO with this bullshite.

I have a feeling this is their first failed test and Miles is choosing to suspend them, even though he doesn't have to. I think Les is taking control of this before these kids even think about doing it again. That's what I want to believe anyway

Why would they be back for the Bama game? You can't just suspend a player, let him play a specific game, then suspend him again. The hell? Failing a drug test is much more serious than a one game suspension. I guess it depends on the drug. Maybe it was a substance they thought was legal? Best case scenario there...I guess.

thanks for the info. this thread is starting to look like the damn JJ facebook from a while back with the old people piling on the morality of some fake weed and what these players "owe" them.

That's what I've been thinking as well. I sure hope that's what it is, Miles nipping this in the bud.

Jeez, all the report says is that they are out for Aurburn. A failed drug test does not mean they are out for more than 1 game.

I am hoping the same thing.

Life goes on.
I wish them a complete recovery from stupidity and hope they play again for LSU and go on to graduate and have careers in the NFL or whatever life dishes up for them.
In the meanwhile, guys will step up.
"Its always something". Roseanne Roseannadana. I think Stan Laurel said it too, before Gilda's character.

Who is even the nickelback now? a fricking freshman?
Jeez, this hurts especially if it's for more than Auburn.
