Fine line between 1 and 2 if you ask me. Almost a pick em...

I'll take it, Now let's work on dominating the next decade.

Don't act like you're not impressed.

I agree with this, I take it that LSU and UF would be the top 2 teams of the decade in the NCAA also...

I have no problem with these rankings, you have to pick someone to be #1. However, I do agree the margin between LSU and UF is almost non-existent. Had LSU had the season UF did this season, LSU may have very well been #1.

There is enough of a separation in SEC records to make it clear enough though.

I think Texas would be in the argument if it dealt with the whole NCAA.

Seems reasonable. If a few things had gone differently, we'd definitely be at the top.

Here's to a great decade, though!

Yep and most of that separation is via this season and last.

What is LSU wins its bowl and Florida loses?

Then LSU has better overall win % and better win % against ranked teams. Plus a much better bowl record.

Did they not lose to Michigan after 07 season? And what about Bama last year (or this year according to you)? Anything could happen.

You may have a point about 2010, but I think those games are included in the 2009 results.

Besides, it was just a hypothetical "WHAT IF", would it change anything?

Wow, according to those numbers, prior to the 2008 season Bama was 22 - 34 in the SEC? Ouch. Those forfeits hurt.

The bowl games played in Jan. '10 are counted toward this season and therefore toward the decade that is winding down NC2A record's-wise.
If Texas defeats 'Bama,(And I do not think they will)they will stand with LSU, Florida and 'SC as the 4 best teams of the decade.

ESPN HATES LSU!!!

But seriously, I agree as well. Florida has been pretty dominant this decade.

Using those standards.. how can anyone put Florida ahead of LSU?

Florida has a losing bowl record (4-5).. LSU is 7-2. LSU has had 5 top-10 finishes and is gunning for a 6th. Florida has had 4 and looking for their 5th.
