We would probably have a 3000 yd passer + 2 1000 yard receivers

That sounds good when compared to LSU historically; it doesn't sound so good when compared to contemporary offenses.

We had arguably the two best receivers in all of college football, one of the top running backs, and a QB who got a cup of coffee in the NFL. That offense should have been the best in all of college football, but it wasn't even in that conversation. Disgraceful!

Les Miles was mostly a miserable coach and I'm extremely happy he's gone. He struggled and almost lost to a shite team in his opener at Kansas. He will fail miserably at Kansas and I will be happy to see it.

Miles has no current day relevance to LSU. He has been gone for nearly three years and this team is only a reflection of Orgeron and his staff.

Since 2009 LSU had two productive offenses in the Miles era. The other years for frustrating schematically and because of a dearth of QB talent.

Miles survived on implementing Bo Schembechler offense. Which is fine when you have the most talent on your side of the the ball. About 10 games a year LSU has more talent than the opposing team. About 11 games a year LSU has more or equal talent level than the opposing team. It takes a little more than the Bo Schembechler offense to beat those teams with equal or more talent than you . Miles always gave lip service to the fans that this year the offense would be different. It never was. He was successful just enough to have a long and fruitful career at LSU but it could have been legendary if he was more open minded and creative.
