You are all missing the bigger picture. ESPN predictably rigged the brackets so that the two teams from New York City would play in a doublebeader, and since UCLA and Oregon needed the late game and Arizona can't play the early game, LSU got stuck and ESPN doesn't care. ESPN cares more about sucking ip to the New York City TV market than it it cares about BFE Louisiana.

Big diff in football and baseball. No way in hell football could ever play a game at 11am on a friday. Basically condoning players skipping class as well as students who would go to the game. So no not remotely close.

Don't feel too bad. On Saturday, the NCAA Track & Field Championships start at 11:00 AM also. This is the first year ESPN has the rights to the meet. In prior years, when CBS had the TV rights, it was also televised in the afternoon.

Are you serious with this shite? Talk about a strawman. Has LSU ever played a football game at 8PM on a Friday?

Baseball has played at 11am on weekdays in the SEC tourny many times. Has probably done the same in a Regional at some point. It is 11am Central, but it is a Noon game as far as ESPN is concerned. This "ESPN hates LSU" schtick is getting real old. The funny thing is, I see the same line repeated on every other team in the country's message boards. I guess all fans are just prone to being butthurt.

Oh, its just an accident that NYC got a doubleheader, making a desert team play in the middle of the afternoon.

Figure this out, buddy. If 2 percent of the NYC market tunes in, its the same as the population of BR. That is definitely a fact.

Because we're playing fricking Stony Brook. That's why we're in the 11 o'clock slot.
