LSU is not going to Citrus
The SEC is not going to send us there 3 times in a row
It will probably be Outback

Michigan had a chance one time before and said that they had no interest in and nothing to be gained from playing. I'm trying to remember what year that was.

Ok- it it’s all about money, the networks would want LSU vs Michigan because of high interest from both sides. Plus no way citrus wants us and we don’t want them....we are too highly ranked to fall below the citrus I’d think. So in this case the SEC would screw itself in order to screw us, so if the argument is always about money, this time the money sides with us....fiesta it is

The Outback and The Citrus are the same animal. shite stadiums (is Tampa building something new?) In shite areas against warm-weather seeking 3rd and 4th place Big Ten teams. LSU won't travel to either bowl. Orlando would obviously be a bigger draw, but hopefully both bowls think better.

TAMU would bring thousands of chow eating doucher cadet wannabes. They are excited for a big Florida bowl. Take them and take Mizzou. LsU nor Auburn wants to go to either.

It is Fiesta or bust.

I just will never forget 2006 when the cards were all set up for a big Rose Bowl matchup with Michigan. And of course a Booty and USC fudged that. There was mutual interest then.

I think the interesting question is how will the committee evaluate Florida vs. LSU? Both are 9-3. Obviously it can't and won't be overlooked that Florida beat LSU head-to-head. But, if you judge the "entire body of work" which selection committees are so fond of saying, then I think it's clear LSU has a better resume.

LSU has played a tougher schedule. LSU has beaten two Top 25 teams to Florida's one. LSU beat a tougher non-conf opponent (Miami v. Florida St.). Fla. has two double-digit losses on their resume to LSU's one (vs. Bama, who Fla. didn't play)

If this were the NCAA basketball tournament, LSU would be seeded higher than Florida even though Florida won the head to head. Does the same "overall body of work" analysis apply for the CFP committee?

IMO, the SEC is getting 3 teams in the NY6 bowls, but not 4. We should know tonight whether that 3rd team is LSU or Florida (Bama and UGA are obviously already in)

This is what’s going to happen.
UGA - Sugar vs OU or OSU
UF - Peach vs UCF
LSU - Fiesta vs UM, WSU, or OSU
UK - Citrus vs PSU
Aggie - Outback vs NW, Iowa, or MSU

Would you rather an 11 am yawn bowl against Michigan State because they are a lock for the Outback. I would much rather play Michigan or Penn State at 1pm.
