I didn't say I was protesting....I said when white people protest.

you're certainly filling in the blanks here and jumping to a lot of conclusions.

Yes he did. And can we agree he brought that on himself based on his own choices...which are protected by the Constitution?

I don't feel sorry for him. He may miss playing football but he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Only in America!!!

I also served and fought for my country. Reid and Kap and the rest of the NFL are spoiled cancers who have no idea what it is like to leave your family not knowing if you will ever see them again. The military teaches respect. These idiots do not know the meaning of the word. I am ashamed that he ever played for LSU.

One of the most prominent members of the NFL’s kneeling movement, San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid, has strong ties to the U.S. Military. In fact, unbeknownst to us, his mother, uncles and cousins all served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces. On Veterans Day, Reid sent out a heartfelt thank you to them for their service on Instagram, featuring his mother in uniform.

Damn didn’t realize the draft was still in existence....

How does someone kneeling for the national anthem before the fricking game affect you in any way, shape or form? It doesn’t mean they don’t love their country.

I served in the United States Army from 98-04 I was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. I kicked off the Iraq War. I seen a lot of things while I was over there. I lost a friend. He was hit in the head with a RPG. It would have killed 5 more had it exploded. I was on scene 20 minutes after the car bomb exploded at the UN. It leveled the side of the building.
I look at kneeling for the national anthem like this. I fought for liberty. The right to stand up for yourself and your beliefs. If someone wants to make a statement about human rights or injustice or intolerance by taking a knee... Then do so with a full heart. That's what America is all about. Until people see past colors- red, blue, white and black. We will never be able to move forward as a country.

The protest are divisive, and a form of bullying. Something like Al Sharpton,or Jesse Jackson would do.I know there are bad cops, because I have unfortunately met a few.The problem with these protest(Which the league allows)is they hurt law abiding people in the innercity. There are plenty of good cops that perform a very necessary function ,and there are plenty of bad people that need to be kept in check.IMHO Sports, and the military have done more for race relations than government policies will ever do.Thats why I believe Mr Reid is misguided.

If I were an NFL player, and I were to squat like I'm taking a faux dump during the National Anthem, and then faux wiped myself, and I did it to protest US support of Israel -- would you feel the same way?
