How is Reid being racist towards whites? He’s just talking about the black experience in America and people are getting offended. Just deal with the facts of America. Black people were treated like shite until around 1965 in this country.
Whites didn’t willingly just start being nice to blacks. Whites created laws and used power and influence to keep them in power, which allowed them to flourish and control all of America's rescources.

Hard work always pays off no matter who you are. Unfortunately his children are going to be privileged and part of the problem since their dad worked hard his entire life. After all, fair is fair.

I respect his passion, but as the saying goes, passion is the true enemy of reason.
IMHO that is the case here. I think it would serve his cause more to first go after a much bigger and affecting issue which is black on black crime. I don't think you can get a handle on anything else until progress is made on that end.
