Are you seriously trying to imply that the NFL base their offenses off of Canada's concepts? If so, that's laughable.

The 1 FB quote was said in conjunction with the 1 TE quote.

Washington was hurt, Moreau played hurt, Sheffer was a freshman and didn’t impress, Mcmath is a receiver we had to plug because we had no TEs.

We struggled converting short yardage because we ran a lot of of shotgun. Think of how many time we actually lined up in run heavy sets in short yardage. Not many because we didn’t have the personnel.

Washington played every game according to LSUSport.net.

So at least 2

So here is what you’re defending:

And offense that can’t function well without 2 blocking TE and multiple scholarship fullbacks?

Does that sound like a modern offense?

“ LSU has one available”

Who’s responsibility is it to have players available to fill positions?

As I recall, before the season started we were told only 30% of the offense had been implemented. Now, four months and 12 games later we are still being told that we have only implemented 30% of the offense.

Something seems to be off to me.

Dumb shite. I’m not defending anything.

The quote was about not having the personnel to go big when our OC wanted to.

Maybe the whole offense needs to be Simplified.

Weol currently the only people who are having trouble figuring out our defense is our own players.

Because defenses don’t seem too confused.

Maybe the simple offense you run well are better than a complicated offense you can’t run.

Hmmmm quick check of the Saints Roster...

And I bet if that FB got hurt Payton would call a couple prospects on his short list for a work out and he'd hire one.

did our FB get hurt?

Because right now you’re arguing that we didn’t use our FB because he might get hurt and if he got hurt we wouldn’t be able to use our FB

Everyone was on the team except burrow, curry and Marshall.

Giles had never caught a pass at LSU
Jefferson had never caught a pass at LSU
Marshall had never caught s pass at LSU

I stand by my original statement.

Plus, that was game one. This is bowl practice. They aren't fresh players anymore, the season is over.

And hopefully we will audible when the situation presents itself without issues.

No it isn't. You simply don't know what you're talking about.

Read the quote see that having only 1 TE and 1FB hindered our flexibility with formations. Couldn’t run goal line or as many power run formations in short yardage

So sammy is saying that he knows better than the coaches which formations they need, what personnel they need for those formations and what players they trust to fill those formations. That's why you wasted your time arguing with him.

No need to imply it. Andy Reid is on the record as saying he borrowed concepts from Matt Canada's offense.
