Maybe it's just me, but I think that the ID of Shannon Forman on the wiretap is a huge plus for Wade, because now it means that LSU/NCAA investigators have already interviewed the guy and the connections to Smart, and they have already established that there's no evidence that money changed hands that way, and Forman obviously had a believable alternative explanation for what the "strong-arse offer" actually was (something like immediate playing time on a Sweet-16 team).
Now, LSU Compliance and the AD don't have to worry about the wiretap connecting some other person who might have given Javonte money. They know that nothing like that is going to come out of the wiretap.
This essentially clears Wade on the wiretap. The only concern left is if Wade has to testify in the court case, and what questions he might be asked there. If the case is dismissed, as some believe it will be, or if there's a plea deal, then Wade will have his little talk with Alleva and F King and all this will be over.
