Honestly, I think the last stadium expansion was too much. There is now a massive surplus of tickets for smaller games. Couple that with a bad loss, and you get a turnout like last night.

You just never saw gaps like that when the capacity was at 92,000.

There is a waiting list for season tickets for most sections

I don't believe this for 1 second

Try calling the ticket office and asking for season tickets in particular sections. You will believe then.

The problem is O While your hatred of O has been well documented on this site, Can we keep the discussion in this thread on Criticisms or possible Defenses of Grimes? O didn't recruit the shite storm that this Oline has become. 5 guys may have left on O's watch but they were Jeff Grimes's guys and He should have been able to influence at least a few of them to stay.

Season Tickets WILL STILL be in demand...they were in the 80s and 90s

All the seats in the middle, by and large, are paid for.

The seats in the upper corners... that's an interesting situation. They did a 2 for $27 promotion for Chatt and for Troy... but not for Syracuse.

Few people are going to pay $25-$40 to go watch a game up there. Especially if the team isn't great.

I wish that were true, but TV revenue will probably keep Alleva afloat for a while. We've sold out for crappy ESPN2/SEC Network spots. I doubt there will be many CBS SEC Saturday games this year.

On a side note second tier programs like Louisville have been doing that for years. Its a good formula making money without having a playoff caliber team. It should be unacceptable for LSU to follow that model, but thats where we are.

All of this assumes their is some competance in the administration, but there isn't. F King does not understand
finance at all, and there is no hope from Alleva.

Remember, Alleva is so incompetent he gave Ed Ogeron, a coach nobody wanted, a $12 million buyout. A few months later he hired a hot commodity basketball coach, that will be tied to every major job that opens up, a contract without a buyout.

Running backs kneeling in the end zone during the anthem is hurting apparently.
