you have a ticket you wont use...lsu can set up a computer system where people can send the ticket number- resale it at the game and split the $$$ with the ticket owner.....win-win-win.....except the ticket hawks will hate it and REAL FANS will be there and stay all game long..........I know too simple ............just saw marketplace.........I am talking a real time way to re-print the ticket at the game ticket window......

Sounds promising

I don't think it would be a bad idea to spread 5 or 6 kiosks around campus that sell and print out the marketplace tickets directly. When they sell out, the screen can just change to reflect that.

I was at the Clemson - BC game yesterday and watched the LSU game at my friends tailgate. Guess what, a lot of people came out at halftime and didn't go back in to the stadium and just watched the second half at the tailgate.

The issue is these days with a tailgater dish, generator, and a flatscreen TV you can watch the game outside while enjoying the tailgaiting experience and many people do this, it's not just LSU.

Would you rather watch the game in HD on your 60
inch flat screen with your bose surround sound. Sitting in your leather recliner with your refrigerator stocked with your favorite adult beverages and snacks OR Drive to game in the heat and humdity or worse yet driving rain storm fight the traffic, climb stairs stepping over people to get to your uncomfortable seats to hear you neighbor tell you how bad the team sucks and Miles is an idiot. Then get screwed on the price of refreshments and to top it off the drunk guy sitting above you spills his drink or worse contents of his stomach all over you and your seat. then you have the pleasure of driving home in traffic. So you say i spent $$$$ for the pleasure of going to the tiger game.

So let me get this straight. The game is a sell out, but people who spent their $ on tickets aren't going to the game. What ever happened to giving tickets to friends who will go?

Most of the big games on tv Sat had full stadiums. Even lowly Penn St had 107,000 with not an empty seat in sight

Large blocks of corporate tickets whose clients don't want to go to all these midafternoon games we've had for years, and the blue hairs that have had season tickets since Huey was governor and don't ever go anymore because it's too (hot, cold, wet, dry, crowded, loud, whatever)

Watching at home has its advantages however - you are not part of the game. A packed, loud, energetic stadium can help the LSU players perform better at key times during the game. If you want to be a part of that then you can't stay home.

Let's face it. Society has turned soft! They would rather watch the game at home than go to the game. Spoiled p*ssies!

Man, how miserable are you? Did you ever consider the possibility that maybe the game will be fun?

If everybody stayed home, stopped buying tix, how would LSU pay for its football program? Not too smart.

Huh? It has nothing to do with ticket holders not going to the game, it's people leaving the game that seems to be the problem.

There is still something very fundamentally wrong here. Actual in the gate attendance was only 77K for one of the two biggest games in TS of the season.

While I was listening to the constant rant on Hannigrif's Post Game show I am watching Mich - Penn State in its 4th OT. PSU stadium is one of the largest in the country at about 103K. There was not an empty seat in the house in the 4th OT and almost every fan was wering white. When they won the game almost the entire stadium of people stayed for the post game celebration. They were not worried about post game traffic...

The other games I tuned in to, UK - Bama and aTm -Ole Miss, those stadiums were full with no apparent empty seats.

I was not at the game yesterday so I dont want to call the kettle black but I am not or never have been a season ticket holder. I go to a lot of games but yesteday I had to work. Student section was way low for such a big game - no interest on campus???

Such a likely scenario...

'Society' doesn't want to get heat stroke, get puked on, hear suck that tiger dick bitch, the very people complaining about the lack of attendance are the ones causing it.

Talk about cognitive dissonance.

You can't bring your kids because of the language, you have do dodge the drunks, it wasn't like this in the 70's and 80's when we packed the place and it was a family atmosphere. Those were the glory days, now we pipe in C-rap music, the band is limited, can't play the songs we want and people just go ...Hell with it, we'll just stay home .

ALL the people complaining haven't seen anything yet. If it keeps up, more and more will stay home. They won't give up their tickets, but they may not use them as well.
